Carb Killa the much more macro friendly Grenade protein bar

From Stack3d
Carb Killa the much more macro friendly Grenade protein bar

Not too long ago Grenade promised a brand new supplement for 2015, giving us just the one clue that carbohydrates would be involved with the product in some way. With a line of supplements as diverse as theirs we thought a post-workout or maybe even intra-workout formula would be likely, however we did not even consider the idea of a low carbohydrate bar. It turns out Carb Killa is the latest from the military inspired Grenade, an on-the-go high protein treat that has significantly less carbohydrates when compared to the brand’s only other edible option. Packed into each 60g Carb Killa bar is a strong 23.2g of protein with milk protein listed as the one source, 7.9g of fat (4.2g saturated), 13.5g of carbohydrates (6.7g fiber, 1.4g sugar), rounding out with a solid calorie count of 214. With more protein, almost a third the total amount of carbs and roughly 100 less calories compared to Grenade’s Reload Flapjack, the big question now of course is how good is Carb Killa’s taste. Unfortunately unlike Reload the latest from the brand has just the one flavor with caramel chaos, although the option has been deliciously described as “a thick layer of caramel over a soft, chewy base filled with crunchy ‘crispies’ all coated in milk chocolate”. Grenade fans interested in the new product do have two choices today, they can decide to either wait for Carb Killa to hit stores sometime soon. Or head on over to the brand’s updated website where the bars are now available individually or in a box of 12 for £2.49 or £29.88.
