Grenade is getting in on the fun of the season of giving once again, bringing back its fun and protein snack-filled Advent Calendar. As with years past, the UK-based brand hasn’t filled its 24-window calendar with sugar-loaded chocolate or treats of that sort; it has filled it with protein bars to help you meet your protein needs right up until Christmas Day. Interestingly, for 2024, the Advent Calendar doesn’t come with the standard 60g version of the Grenade Protein Bar.
This year, Grenade has chopped down the size of almost all of the protein snacks tucked behind the 24 windows of its very custom, protein-filled Advent Calendar, weighing 35g a piece instead of 60. That does change on the last day, Christmas Eve, when you get a usual 60g Grenade Protein Bar to have you feeling good going into Christmas. Every other window has a snack-sized 35g bar, and we do know the five different flavors fans can expect to find throughout the calendar.
Grenade has confirmed it’s specifically thrown in six each of the original masterpiece Oreo, the spin-off Oreo White, and Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel Grenade Protein Bar, a single Gingerbread, and the remaining five at White Chocolate Salted Caramel. The brand opened pre-orders for the 2024 edition of its Advent Calendar yesterday, and it has since sold out at a very reasonable £35 each, although that’s not to say there won’t be more stock added before Christmas.
