Apigenin 99 is the latest single ingredient supplement from the brand that call themselves The Single Ingredient Specialists. Like every other one of SD Pharmaceuticals’ products, their latest is named after its one and only feature. That one ingredient is of course apigenin (5,7-Dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one) which has been dosed at 50mg per capsule. Also like all of SD’s other supplements the brand have released a full description going over just what Apigenin 99 does and why it’s been put together.
In short “apigenin has been studied for its effects on aromatase mRNA gene expression.” Another line worth mentioning is “apigenin has also been studied for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular and antibacterial properties.” On top of all its individual effects, SD’s Apigenin 99 also has good reason to be stacked with Acacetin 99. The brand is saying the two are synergistic compounds and that apigenin can actually help produce more acacetin.
