If you’ve been following us on social media, today’s Protein Wars III announcement won’t come as much of a surprise to you. In short we’ve decided to bring back one of the most popular products knocked out in round one of the contest in next week’s quarterfinals. We’ve nailed down our selection to a handful of supplements based on votes, as well as who fans want to see return. The lucky product will be thrown into a randomly selected quarterfinal, turning at least one contest into a three-way battle.
As well as introducing a wild card in the quarterfinals, there is actually one more thing we’ll be doing differently next week. Previously the Protein Wars’ poll results were available for everyone to see live, voter or not, from Monday right up until they closed midnight Sunday. Moving forward the results will be hidden for almost all of each week, with only select hours on select days giving you the chance to see the current percentages.
We’ll have more details on exactly when the results will be visible on Monday, which is also when we’ll be naming the wild card entry.
