Back when we first posted about Optimum Nutrition’s upcoming Gold Standard Gainer, the brand’s fourth Gold Standard spin-off supplement. We mentioned that we only knew of one size for the Carb10 infused gainer and just two traditional flavors. Almost a month later the product has still yet to hit shelves, however we can now confirm that Gold Standard Gainer is going to have a lot more options than the ones we mentioned.
We’ll start with sizes, which we previously only knew about the one with a 10lb, 23 serving bag. It turns out Optimum is in fact going to have two sizes, the other one being half the 10lb weighing in at 5lbs with 11 servings. As for flavors, Gold Standard Gainer is going to be launched with a menu twice as big as we originally posted about. On top of its two traditional tastes — Colossal Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream — the supplement is also going to be available in Cookies & Cream and Cinnamon Bun.
From what we know all four of Gold Standard Gainer’s flavors are going to be released for both of its sizes. We still don’t unfortunately know when that release is going to happen, just that the product is coming soon.
