After a rather dramatic week two in the 2016 Protein Wars, which you can read all about in our results post from earlier this morning, we’re now into the quarterfinals of the annual competition. We actually have a number supplements that have managed to progress for the first time ever in the Protein Wars, making for a great combination of contests.
From week one we have two very explosive battles with the 2015 champion Nutrabio Whey Protein Isolate taking on Rule One R1 Protein, Muscletech Nitro-Tech Whey Gold, and ProSupps PS Whey. The other one sees the newcomer MAN’s Clean Protein going up against BSN’s Syntha-6 Edge, Universal Ultra Whey, and the veteran Dymatize ISO-100.
From week two we have two more very interesting matchups with the somewhat legendary Optimum Gold Standard Whey taking on Quest Protein, Muscle Sport’s Lean Whey, and the true underdog, Redcon1 ISOtope. Rounding out the quarterfinals list is a full on battle between Magnum Quattro, MusclePharm Combat, RSP Whey, and the fan favorite, Jim Stoppani’s Pro Jym.
