Tasteless TeaCrine could make the ingredient a little more popular

tasteless teacrine

If you’re a fan of pre-workout and/or weight loss supplements, there is a good chance you’ve come across the popular Compound Solutions ingredient TeaCrine theacrine. It tends to always pop up in a lot of very effective products, and is responsible for boosting focus as well as energy for an impressive amount of time.

While TeaCrine is currently used in a lot of supplements, it’s not in as many as your more common ingredients such as beta-alanine, creatine, and caffeine. That all may change very soon however, as a new version of the ingredient has been created which might just be enough to convince even more companies to use it.

Basically one of the biggest issues with TeaCrine is that it tastes pretty awful at high doses, making it a bad option for things like pre-workouts. We discovered first hand just how bad it can be in the top pre-workout Unstoppable V2, which packs a solid 100mg of TeaCrine per serving.

Compound Solutions’ new version of its star ingredient solves that flavor problem as it is apparently a tasteless TeaCrine. If that is indeed the case we imagine the powder products already using TeaCrine are about to get a bit tastier, and those that aren’t may end up having it added for a bit of extra energy and focus.
