X50 Broccoli Chips Review: Tribeca makes broccoli taste like potato chips

From Stack3d
X50 Broccoli Chips Review

Last year the Australian brand Tribeca Health introduced a relatively unique snack with its vacuum fried, X50 Broccoli Chips. We have previously got a taste of them at a previous expo; however, we weren’t overly impressed. Recently we managed to get our hands on one of each of the product’s newly rebranded flavors, which we can now confirm are much better than what we initially sampled.

Broccoli Chips nutrition

If you’ve never seen Tribeca’s X50 Broccoli Chips before, they are exactly what they sound like. Each bag packs 40g of real broccoli, a solid source of fiber with no gluten, pesticides, GMOs, or preservatives. You get the goodness of broccoli and a nice mix of macros with per serving, 2g of protein, 9.6g of carbohydrates, 5.5g of fat, and 100 calories.

Better than they look

When you first lay eyes on the X50 Broccoli Chips, they don’t look all that welcoming. We’ve never thought broccoli itself looked all that great, but with it vacuum fried and hardened, the vegetable is even less attractive.

While the chips don’t look overly appealing, it will likely take one bite to convince you they taste significantly better than they look. Tribeca Health has done an amazing job at making these feel like actual crispy, crunchy potato chips. If you close your eyes and take a bite, the last thing you would think is that you’re eating vacuum fried broccoli.

Ranking the flavors

The X50 Broccoli Chips come in a total of three different flavors with Sea Salt, BBQ, and Spicy. They all have a tiny touch of veggie taste at the end, although that’s easy to disguise by eating the chips one after another. The flavors do also back up their titles with tastes to match, Spicy being the best one of the lot, followed by the tangy BBQ, then the straightforward Sea Salt.

Surprisingly delicious snack

Simply put, Tribeca Health’s X50 Broccoli Chips is a guilt-free snack you won’t be disappointed with. Somehow the brand has actually given the vegetable a potato chip-like consistency, mixed with spicy, sweet, and salty flavoring. It was already quite the unique product being vacuum fried broccoli, however, now we can confirm first hand it’s even more unique due to its impressive flavor experience.
