The innovative team behind the delicious Dough Bar Protein Doughnuts has launched its first more mainstream snack called the Protein Packed Crispy Bar. It is essentially a Rice Krispie style protein bar, that comes with a few features separating it from the other similar style bars out there.
Nutrition profile
Per bar, the DOugh Bar Crispy Bar provides 15g of protein uniquely coming from a blend of pea protein and brown rice protein, making it a vegan-friendly snack. The other macros rounding out its nutrition profile are 29g of carbohydrates with 9g of that fiber and 3g sugar, 9g of fat (5g saturated), and 250 calories.
On top of the Dough Bar’s interesting feature of being a vegan-friendly snack, the Protein Packed Crispy Bar does have a few other noteworthy highlights. The Rice Krispie style bar is also gluten-free, has no GMOs, and no soy or dairy ingredients.
Two flavors
The delicious Dough Bar team has launched its Crispy Bar in a total of two tastes, Original and Chocolate Chip. Surprisingly, their macros don’t differ all that much, as the numbers mentioned above are for the original flavor, which has the same calories and protein as the Chocolate Chip, but more fat and half the sugar.
