United States Patent Office cancels all VPX Super Creatine patent claims

thermolife super creatine patent claims

Roughly one and a half years ago, ThermoLife International filed a request with the United States Patent Office to have the patentability of VPX CEO Jack Owac’s Super Creatine patent, re-examined. ThermoLife is the company behind the effective NO3-T nitrate ingredients you see in various types of supplements.

As a result of ThermoLife’s request, the United States Patent Office has now completely canceled all of Jack Owac’s Super Creatine patent claims. Owac’s Super Creatine is most commonly seen as in ingredient VPX Sports’ popular Bang Energy drink and is further highlighted on the neck of the product’s can.

“The rejections of Owac’s claims are predominantly based on the Russian ‘645 Patent, which is the same as US Patent 8,350,077 (“the ‘077 Patent”) exclusively licensed and controlled by ThermoLife. During the re-exam process the USPTO has stated on multiple occasions that the compounds in the Owac patent are identical to the compounds in the ‘645 patent and the ThermoLife controlled ‘077 patent.”
