Last month we were given an opportunity to review Redcon1’s upcoming cereal protein bar which turned out to be a very enjoyable high protein snack. This week the brand has shared an update on the product, revealing the name it’s been given as well as what the final release is going to look like.
You can see the label design Redcon1 has gone with for its new cereal protein bar in the image up above. It is quite a bit different from the wrapper of the brand’s other protein bar — the delicious MRE Bar — as it features a combination of two main colors instead of just the one black color.
As for the name of the upcoming cereal protein bar which has real cereal pieces in the bar itself, Redcon1 has decided to call it B.A.R. While that does of course appropriately spell the word “Bar”, the brand has actually made it stand for something with “Bar At the Ready”.
Redcon1 plans on launching its cereal bar now officially named BAR, sometime during the month of January. The product will feature 20g of protein per bar with around 190 calories, and is due to release in three flavors made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Fruity Pebbles.
