The Power Of Me protein bar has some of the best macros in the category

the power of me protein bar

The Power Of Me is an up and coming brand out of the UK that is exhibiting at this year’s BodyPower Expo, and confidently promotes its protein bar as having the best macros on the market. While that is a bold claim, when it comes to a balance of protein and calories, the brand is not wrong.

The protein snack from The Power Of Me gets most of its protein from milk protein with a strong 22g in each relatively light 45g bar. The other macros making up the product include around 11g of carbohydrates with less than a gram of sugar, 4.3g of fat, and a calorie count just under 160 at 157 to 159.

Basically, The Power Of Me’s snack provides a bit more protein than your typical bar, but with significantly fewer calories. The only product we know of that is in the same realm as this one is Got7 Nutrition’s recently released I Am Tasty bar, which is only marginally leaner at 31g of protein for 220 calories.

When it comes to the taste of the protein bar, it is about what you’d expect with such a strong nutrition profile. It has a doughy consistency that takes some effort to chew through, although it does have touches of sweet flavors with an impressive amount of mint in its Dark Chocolate Mint variant.

While The Power Of Me’s protein bar may not compare to its many candy bar competitors which we thoroughly enjoy, it makes up for all of that with its unique macros. If you’re looking for something on the leaner side then definitely give it a try with the Dark Chocolate Mint being our favorite flavor.
