Optimum launches choc coated cashews, almonds, peanuts and hazelnuts

As we’ve seen many times before, Optimum Nutrition is no stranger to launching exclusive products for different parts of the world. We saw the company do it earlier this year with European Optimum Protein Bar, and now it has another one, this time for Australia and New Zealand with Protein Choc Coated Nuts.

The newest Optimum Nutrition snack is similar to its Protein Almonds available in the US and just recently released in Europe. The Protein Choc Coated Nuts are nuts covered in high protein, low sugar milk chocolate, however, unlike Protein Almonds, this snack is made with a variety of nuts instead of only almonds.

There are four options available for Optimum Nutrition’s Protein Choc Coated Nuts, all of which come coated in chocolate but with a different nut on the inside. The options you have to choose from are Almonds, Cashews, Peanuts, and Hazelnuts, with 10g of protein per bag except in the almond variant you get a little extra at 11g.

The rest of the protein snack’s nutrition profile consists of 5g of carbohydrates with only 3g of that sugar, 5g of fiber, 17g of fat, and 221 calories. While the Protein Choc Coated Nuts do look delicious, they’re also made with no artificial ingredients, meaning no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

As mentioned, Optimum Nutrition has launched its new Protein Choc Coated Nuts in Australia and New Zealand. According to the brand you can pick them up from Coles and Woolworths supermarkets as well as supplement stores like the Nutrition Warehouse where you can get the product at $3.50 (2.44 USD) per bag.
