Previously, one of the few products Optimum Nutrition fans could find in the US but not the UK, was the brand’s delicious and sweet, Protein Almonds. This week that is no longer the case, as Optimum has now finally made its chocolate coated almond snack available for purchase in that part of the world.
The first thing you’ll notice about Optimum Nutrition’s Protein Almonds in the UK, is that they feature a very different look. The brand has given the product a more natural and organic type label design, although, on the inside of the wrapper, the great-tasting snack appears to be pretty much the same.
Optimum Nutrition’s UK version of Protein Almonds is still almonds coated in delicious chocolate and packed full of protein. The macros vary slightly between the two product’s two flavors, both of which are similar to options from the US Protein Almond’s menu with Dark Chocolate Truffle and Dark Chocolate Cinnamon.
The nutrition profile on Optimum Nutrition’s Dark Chocolate Truffle Protein Almonds is led by 10g of protein per bag, 19g of fat, 8.3g of carbohydrates, and 238 calories.
