optimum nutrition fit 40

Gold Standard Fit 40 is an all-new series of supplements from the legacy brand Optimum Nutrition. The line is now available from the major retailer, the Vitamin Shoppe, with just two products in it at the moment. There is the Gold Standard Fit 40 protein powder and the Fit 40 joint support formula.

Optimum Nutrition’s new Gold Standard Fit 40 series is a collection of supplements aimed at active people over the age of 40. Its two current products are fairly straightforward and reasonably priced.

The Gold Standard Fit 40 protein powder comes with 30g of protein per serving to help maintain muscle, along with an added 4g of leucine for recovery support. The protein comes from a blend of three whey sources and also has 4g of carbohydrates, 2g of sugar, a gram of fiber, 2g of fat, and 150 calories.

As for Optimum Nutrition’s one other supplement in the line, the Gold Standard Fit 40 joint formula, it comes with ingredients to support healthy joints. It includes UC-II providing 10mg of type II collagen, 50mg of turmeric, 150mg of the branded Cuvitus, 100mg of hops, and lastly, vitamin C.

As mentioned, you can grab Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard Fit 40 supplements now from the Vitamin Shoppe. The protein powder costs $29.99 for a 20 serving tub in either Chocolate or Vanilla flavors. The joint support product is also priced at $29.99 but comes with 45 servings per bottle.
