Optimum blends creatine, vitamins and a splash of electrolytes in its all-new Creatine+

Optimum Nutrition Creatine Plus

Optimum Nutrition made plenty of noise earlier this year when details rolled out on an all-new, bulk standalone creatine supplement that destroyed the majority of the competition with its massive size and contrasting, miniature price tag. The legendary brand responsible for Gold Standard Whey Protein launched a massive 675g, 135 serving tub of Micronized Creatine exclusively at Costco, and consumers could snatch that four-and-a-half-month’s supply for just $19.99.

Another creatine innovation is hitting the market this month from Optimum Nutrition that is less about offering unbeatable value and worrying more about offering something different in the fast-paced world of creatine supplements. Creatine+ sees the legacy brand Optimum bring together three types of ingredients, including a full 5g dosage of creatine monohydrate, a variety of electrolytes for a light and combined 170mg a serving, and key vitamins in C, D and Bs.

Optimum Nutrition Creatine Plus Label

The creatine category has been exploding lately, not so much with creativity and innovation, but a long line of competition, simply giving consumers more and more brands and solutions to choose from. Creatine+ is a bit different in that aspect, as it brings together a few supplements in one, although as you can see it’s not a huge dive into hydration or vitamins. The extra features do come at a cost, far from the value of Optimum’s Costco-exclusive at $28.99 for a tub of 80 servings or $17.99 for a half-size tub of 40, in Orange Passionfruit and Strawberry Peach flavors.
