As we’ve done every year for the past seven, to close out the year we’re holding our Brand Of The Year Awards, although for 2020 we are introducing a few new categories. Alongside our overall Brand Of The Year Award, we’re doing Functional Food Brand Of The Year, International Brand Of The Year, and Newcomer Of The Year.
Today we’re announcing the five nominees in the running for our Functional Food Brand Of The Year Award with the winner to be crowned in the new year. The functional food and protein snack space has grown immensely over the past 12 months, so we certainly were not short on contenders for our all-new Functional Brand Award.

As you can see from the list of nominees above, we have creative, top-rated companies from all over the world. The list includes the US brands Outright from Marc Lobliner, and the fat fueling FBOMB. The other three nominees are all from Europe with Grenade out of the UK, Got7 Nutrition from Germany, and the Swedish brand Barebells.
The winner of our Functional Food Brand Of The Year Award is someone that has frequently and consistently delivered throughout the year with new, creative, and tasty products and flavors. All five of our nominees have done exactly that, so it will be exciting to see who takes out the title and becomes our first-ever Functional Brand Of The Year.
