An unflavored option is on the way for Optimum’s plant-based protein powder

optimum nutrition unflavored gold standard plant protein

Since hitting the market back in 2017, Optimum Nutrition’s plant-based protein powder, Gold Standard Plant, has grown to a total of three different flavors. The product actually only launched in two tastes with Chocolate and Vanilla, then shortly after the legacy supplement company added a fruity option in Berry.

Details have now surfaced on another addition to Optimum Nutrition’s menu for Gold Standard Plant, although it’s not bringing a whole lot of flavor with it. The upcoming option for the product is an Unflavored version providing the same 24g of protein from a plant-based blend of organic pea, rice, and sacha inchi protein.

Optimum Nutrition’s Unflavored Gold Standard Plant protein does not appear to be available just yet, but it does look like it’ll be hitting retailers soon. The brand’s online store at optimumnutrition.com is already listing the new option in a 19 serving tub for $30.99, although it is currently out of stock.
