Swizzels is an iconic confectionery manufacturer from the United Kingdom who has partnered with the also very popular Myprotein, for some truly creative collaborations. The supplement company is coming out with authentic flavors of its protein powder Clear Whey Isolate and high protein Layered Bar, based on some of Swizzels’ most popular candy.
The flavors of Clear Whey Isolate Myprotein has put together in partnership with Swizzels are Love Hearts, Parma Violets, Refreshers, and Drumstick. The products all aim to deliver the nostalgic flavor of the classic candy that inspired them, which is also represented on the label of each flavor, such as Drumstick Clear Whey Isolate covered in red and yellow stripes.
Myprotein has also created just the one authentic Swizzels candy flavor for its protein bar Layered Bar, with Drumstick. The interesting thing about this one is that apparently, its various layers are Drumstick colored. The candy’s signature red and yellow color scheme has been extended into the protein bar itself, which we haven’t seen yet but should be quite a sight.
Although Myprotein’s authentic creations promise to come through with Love Hearts, Parma Violets, Refreshers, and Drumstick-like flavors, they remain true to their respective supplements. The Clear Whey Isolates still pack 20g of protein per serving from premium whey isolate with 90 calories or less, and the Drumstick Layered Bar has 20g of protein and only 2.3g of sugar.
All five of the Myprotein and Swizzels products will be available starting this Sunday through the main international Myprotein website. It is also worth mentioning that all of the nostalgic collaborations are limited edition launches and aren’t going to be around for good.
