Latest HighKey baking mix lets fans make keto-friendly buttermilk biscuits

The creative, functional food company HighKey, who we recently posted about regarding its Rice Krispies-like protein cereal, has another new product this week for its line of baking mixes. Fans of the brand can already make several different types of treats with its various baking mixes, including muffins, cupcakes, waffles, blondies, and brownies.

HighKey’s latest effort is a Buttermilk-flavored Biscuit Mix, with a functional, keto-friendly twist. The Biscuit Mix is made with almond and coconut flour, tapioca, leavening, and salt, which does need to be mixed with eggs and butter. The macros on a single finished biscuit are a high 18g of fat, just 2g of net carbohydrates, 6g of protein, and 200 calories.

The Biscuit Mix is listed in HighKey’s online store, but it is not in stock just yet. Amazon, on the other hand, has the product available and at the same price as the brand’s website with a bag of 12 servings at $10.97. When the Biscuit Mix does eventually hit highkey.com, it’ll be the better place to go as it’ll have bulk options with $4 off a pack of four or buy five bags and get one free.
