Ooh Snap Bar no longer Snap’s only product with the launch of Protein Ridges

Snap Nutrition, is the brand behind the delicious Ooh Snap Protein Bar, which was the first Rice Krispie Treat-style snack we ever came across. Up until this year, Snap Nutrition had not actually added any snacks or other edible products to its lineup outside of more flavors for its original protein bar, but now, its all-new Protein Ridges have changed that.

The brand’s new product is a protein-packed, chip type snack that appears to be very similar to Optimum Nutrition’s identically named Protein Ridges, which launched just over a year ago. The Optimum product isn’t too bad with a good protein-to-calorie ratio and great flavor; however, it does have a dense and doughy consistency.

Snap Nutrition’s Protein Ridges have a similar nutrition profile to Optimum Nutrition’s at 15g of protein per bag, 14 to 16g of carbohydrates depending on the flavor, 2 to 4g of sugar, 5 to 7g of fat, and 170 or 180 calories. The brand’s chip style snack comes in three different flavors with Spicy Nacho Cheese, Toasted Cinnamon, and Sour Cream and Onion.

Fans of Snap Nutrition, as well as functional food and protein snack lovers, can grab the new Protein Ridges from the brand’s website, where currently all but its Toasted Cinnamon flavor are in stock. Snap’s regular price on the product is $34.99 for a box of ten bags, but at the moment it is discounting that by $5 down to $29.99.
