Always interesting Be Legend releases noodles made with pea protein

be legend high protein noodles

The Japanese brand Be Legend is back in the headlines today, although unlike every other time we’ve posted about it, on this occasion, it is not regarding a new flavor or special edition collaboration. The consistently creative team at Be Legend has come out with a rather unique functional item that can be prepared in as little as five minutes, and quite easily worked into your diet.

Be Legend’s latest is not low-calorie noodles like we’ve seen from many European brands, but noodles that are high in protein. They are made with pea protein, to give them that promised high-protein, rice, and potato and corn starch. The macros on 100g dry, include a solid 23.2g of protein, much higher than traditional noodles, and lower carbohydrates at 60.4g with 3.6g of fat and 361 calories.

Be Legend’s protein noodles essentially improve noodle nutrition in both directions, higher in protein and lower in carbs. It’s definitely an interesting product and not something we’ve seen from any sports nutrition brand internationally, let alone in the US. Those n Japan can pick up Be Legend’s protein noodles from its retailer Real Style at reasonable ¥600 (5.67 USD) for a 300g bag.
