Bang Energy CEO Jack Owoc says “you’re fired” and terminates its Pepsi partnership

bang terminates distribution partnership with pepsi

Earlier this year, VPX Sports partnered with PepsiCo to exclusively distribute its popular Bang energy drink. We suspected the two giants coming together would push the already widely available beverage into even more store and shelves. VPX Sports has now shared a press release announcing it is terminating its partnership with PepsiCo just shy of seven months after it began.

“Bang Energy has had, and continues to have, a remarkable 11-year relationship with many of its prior distribution partners, including the independent Pepsi bottlers. Therefore, we sincerely expected PepsiCo to execute at an even higher level based on their enormous resources and promises. Unfortunately, we were wrong. PepsiCo, you’re fired,” – Bang Energy CEO Jack Owoc.

According to VPX Sports, PepsiCo is no longer the exclusive distributor for any of the functional beverages from the brand, including Noo Fuzion, Redline, Meltdown, and of course, the Bang energy drink.
