Foodspring’s plant-based protein bar gets a chocolate covered spin-off

food spring vegan protein bar extra layered

If you’re a fan of Foodspring’s plant-based, vegan-friendly protein bar simply named ‘Vegan Protein Bar’, the brand has come out with an even tastier version, or at least one with more sweetness and flavor. The European sports supplement and functional food company has introduced the Vegan Protein Bar Extra Layered, which is precisely that.

Foodspring’s all-new creation is essentially a plant-based, vegan-friendly protein bar, like the original Vegan Protein Bar, but instead of being bare, it is covered in crunchy nuts and delicious chocolate. The Vegan Protein Bar Extra Layered is smaller, weighing 45g, with 10g of protein per bar, 13g of carbohydrates, 1.4g of sugar, 8.5g of fat, and 180 calories.

While the product isn’t as protein-packed as the Vegan Protein Bar, as mentioned, the key with Foodspring’s spin-off is the extra layer for more flavor from the layer of tasty chocolate. It comes in two great-looking flavors, both covered in chocolate with Roasted Peanut featuring, of course, peanut pieces, and Hazelnut Crunch with pieces of hazelnut.

Foodspring’s Vegan Protein Bar Extra Layered is in stock and available for purchase through its online store, for the exact same price as the original, although once again, it is smaller and not as high in protein. The cost of a single bar is €2.49 (3.03 USD), or you can save a bit of money and get a box of a dozen at €24.89 (30.42 USD).
