European competitor FA Nutrition stretches itself pretty extensively with more brands than you could probably think of all under one roof. Each line is built for a different audience or purpose, although some of them still get rather close to one another. Guarilla is the latest family of sports nutrition products the company has put out into the world, featuring bold and eye-catching label designs, and it hit the market earlier this year with a handful of categories.
FA Nutrition and Guarilla recently jumped into the functional food space with Guarilla Protein Chips, and following on from that, this month, it has debuted another edible item that was actually previewed when word first got out on the brand. The Guarilla Protein Bar is now on the market, although it is more of a snack than a full-blown protein bar with 12g of protein in a moderately sized 48g piece, more than that in carbohydrates at 15g, around 16g of fat, and 250 calories.
There are other protein bars available from FA Nutrition in Europe, so while it’s entry into the category from Guarilla isn’t as competitive nutritionally, it has other options. The company wouldn’t want to overlap or take away from another, really justifying that more moderate level of protein. The product is out now where FA Nutrition brands are sold in three flavors, all infused with caramel in Peanut Caramel, Coconut Caramel, and Vanilla Caramel.
