Legacy brand BSc puts the most protein we’ve ever seen in a bar at a huge 48g

Bsc High Protein Bar

As the Australian brand Body Science, or BSc, has put it, big is back, and it is saying that in reference to the launch of what we’re pretty sure is the highest protein bar in the world, potentially in the history of the industry. The long-running sports nutrition company has debuted the High Protein Bar, and while we’ve seen many different products with that name over the years, none have been as high as this with a whopping 48g of protein squeezed into a 92g bar.

BSc’s High Protein Bar gets all of its protein primarily from collagen, then a few other, more common sources in whey isolate, casein, and soy. The carbohydrates come in at 2.6 to 3.3g, although it is worth noting that, in Australia, fiber and glycerol are not counted towards that, like they are here in the US, but they are transparently listed at under a gram, and 12g, respectively. The fat is up there at just under 13g, less than 2g of sugar, and finally, 388 to 389 calories.

We can’t imagine this is going to be the tastiest protein bar on the market, despite its great-looking build of a dense base, gooey top layer, and chocolate covering. In saying that, the point of the product is clearly to give you the most protein possible, and again, it’s the most we know of in a protein bar in any market, and may be the most ever. BSc High Protein Bar is out now in Australia in Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream, and Chocolate Fudge Slab flavors.
