Oatein improves the taste and texture of its protein cookie for the New Year

new and improved oatein cookie

Functional food company Oatein from the UK, which initially, exclusively made oat-based snacks and products, has revamped one of its popular treats for the New Year. It is the Oatein Protein Cookie that has been given the refresh for 2021, bringing with it several changes and improvements compared to the previous version of the protein snack.

Firstly, Oatein has made the taste and texture of its Protein Cookie even better, all while still featuring a reasonable nutrition profile. It packs 16.5g of protein per cookie, a high 34.2g of carbohydrates with 14.3g of sugar, 9.6g of fat, and 296 calories. One other notable change is the product has relaunched in two flavors, one of which has an important feature.

The flavors of the renewed Oatein protein cookie are Double Chocolate and Salted Caramel, with the former being the one with the unique feature as it’s now completely plant-based and vegan-friendly. You can grab the updated on-the-go snack starting this week from the brand’s website, where it’s currently on sale at £7.95 (10.87 USD) for a box of 12.
