Think drops a Rice Krispies Treat-like product providing 15g of protein with just 150 calories

Think Crispy Squares

The Glanbia-owned functional food company Think makes some incredibly delicious snacks, almost underrated due to the brand’s mainstream status. We are suckers for the Delight Protein Bar, which feels rather robust on the outside, but when you bite in your teeth sink right through for an incomparable consistency. Think Crispy Squares is the newest protein snack from the team, and it looks to replicate the traditional Rice Krispies Treat.

Think Crispy Squares are indeed small squares made up of crispy protein pieces, with a solid, flavorful base and flavor squiggles across the top. Again, these sorts of functional foods offer an eating experience close to the classic Rice Krispies Treat, pairing a light, crunchy texture and a sweet taste if it’s done well. The protein-to-calorie ratio is not too bad, providing 15g of protein, 17g of carbohydrates, just 3g of that sugar, and 150 calories.

As mentioned, Think tends to deliver some pretty enjoyable, moderate to high-protein foods, and with that in mind, we imagine Think Crispy Squares are right on the money. Another key feature is that each piece is relatively thin and light, and that does go a long way when it comes to density and how tough a product can be to chew. The innovation is out now in three fitting flavors: Toffee Pretzel, Chocolate, and, of course, Marshmallow.
