Genius switches to whey and egg white isolate in its updated Genius Protein

genius brand genius protein

The Genius Brand has relaunched its original whey-based protein powder, Genius Protein, which still relies on whey for a good amount of its protein, but it’s the other source that’s changed for the new version. Instead of featuring whey isolate and micellar casein, Genius Protein now comes with whey isolate and egg white isolate to provide the same 24g of protein per serving.

Due to the change in sources of protein, the macros are slightly different than the original, but not by too much, with the 24g of protein alongside 4g of carbohydrates, all of which is sugar with 2g added sugar, a gram of fat, and 120 calories. The supplement also comes in two traditional flavors as opposed to one with Lean Chocolate replaced by the simple pair of Chocolate and Vanilla.

Last but not least, the price of the Genius Brand’s renewed protein powder is about the same at $39.99, but you do get a lot less servings at 20 per tub instead of the original’s 30. The product is available now through the online retail giant Amazon with no sign of it yet in the brand’s own online store at thegeniusbrand.com.
