Rule One drops a more candy bar-like version of its BaR1 high-protein snack

When Rule One Proteins shared a teaser image last week featuring some squiggles of sauce, we suspected the brand would be coming out with some sort of low to no-calorie sauce under its Performance Pantry Series. It turns out we were thinking in the correct category of functional foods; however, we were not close at all on what type of product fans are being treated to this week.

Rule One Proteins has released BaR1 or at least another version of BaR1, which is a Rice Krispies-style protein bar the brand introduced a couple of months ago in March. The latest edition of BaR1 is a smoother, and more candy bar-like snack than the crunchier original and has a similar nutrition profile with 20g of protein, 19g of carbohydrates, 2g of sugar, 9g of fat, and 220 calories.

Last week’s teaser image from Rule One Protein did feature three lines of flavor, which is in reference to the three different flavors of the smoother BaR1 with Cookies & Creme, Chocolate Fudge, and Peanut Butter. The brand does want to make it clear the newly launched BaR1 protein bar is not replacing the Rice Krispies version; it is being sold alongside it as an alternative experience.

Rule one Proteins smoother and more candy bar-like BaR1 is available now through its website, where the brand is currently offering 20% discount on everything. The deal drops the newer BaR1 down from $2.99 per bar and $31.99 for a box of 12 to $2.39 and $25.59, respectively, and that goes for any of its three tasty flavors.
