Functional retailer Protein Pick and Mix launches Mountain Joe’s Protein Cake

Mountain Joes Protein Cake

While you can’t yet purchase the product from its online store, Mountain Joes’ completely new snack, Protein Cake, is now available from one of our favorite UK-based functional retailers. The Protein Pick and Mix team is the first to show up with the product in stock and ready for purchase at £2.49 (3.43 USD) per bar or get a box of ten at £19.50 (26.89 USD).

With the launch of Mountain Joe’s Protein Cake at Protein Pick and Mix has come the snack’s full nutrition profile, led by a moderate 12g of protein with 27g of carbohydrates, 16g of sugar, 13g of fat, and 274 calories. As you can see, the brand has kept the protein well below the usual 20g but kept the carbohydrates up there, giving it a relatively high amount of calories.

We won’t know until we actually try the product firsthand, however looking at those macros, Mountain Joe’s seems to have all of the ingredients for Protein Cake to be another tasty treat. Once again, you can try it for yourself by visiting Protein Pick and Mix, which only has the Birthday Cake flavor available at the moment, with Carrot Cake still to come.
