Ahead puts just under 10g of protein into its decadent new nut butter cups

Ahead Nutrition Protein Cups

The ever-colorful Ahead Nutrition is one of the most extensive and reliably delicious players in the functional food space, offering an impressively strong selection of bars with their own distinct builds and features, as well as other snack-type foods pumped up with protein. Hitting the market this week from the creative German company is an extension of all of that in Ahead Protein Cups in three delicious-looking flavors.

Ahead Nutrition hasn’t packed a huge amount of protein into the newest format at 9.5g across two chocolate nut butter cups. The carbohydrates sit in the same sort of area between 8 and 9g with just over a gram of that sugar, 14g of fat, and a consistent 185 calories across all of the flavors. The options are Milk Chocolate Peanut and Milk Chocolate Hazelnut, and the white chocolate variety, White Chocolate Pistachio.

There isn’t a product from Ahead Nutrition that we didn’t like, so we do not doubt that its new Protein Cups are as delicious as they look with the creamy nut butter inside each hard chocolate cup, also being as smooth as pictured. You can grab a box of 12 packets — working out to 24 cups in total as they come in pairs — straight from the brand’s official online store at €28.99 (34.08 USD).
