Nutrend launches a wholefood-filled and vegan-friendly protein snack

Nutrend Vegan Protein Bar

European brand Nutrend may have almost every category covered, from amino and pre-workout to protein powder and protein bar, although it continues to add and expand its selection. This week the ever-growing brand has precisely that, with yet another protein bar, something it has plenty of, and while this one is vegan, that is also a type of snack we’ve seen before from Nutrend.

The latest Nutrend product is simply named the Vegan Protein Bar, featuring a traditional snack bar style build with its body made up of oats, almonds, peanuts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, quinoa, and more. Everything in it is completely plant-based and vegan-friendly, including its primary protein source, pea protein, which helps give the on-the-go snack a moderate 8g of protein in a 40g bar.

Nutrend’s Vegan Protein Bar keeps its other macros reasonably low with 6g of fat, 18g of carbohydrates with 4.8g of that sugar, and a calorie count of 165. As you can see, the product isn’t supremely high in protein, although to the brand’s credit, neither are the calories. The crunchy and wholefood-filled protein bar is out now in Europe in two flavors with Peanut Butter and Almond.
