NZ Muscle prices its newest pre-workout at $33 USD and gives it a 5g serving size

Nz Muscle Pre Ultra

New Zealand retailer and now brand with its own line of products, NZ Muscle, has a new pre-workout out in early 2022 separate from the two it already has available in Savage Pre and All-In-1-Pre. Its latest entry into the category is Pre Ultra, and while the name sounds more on the high end, it is actually substantially cheaper than All-In-1-Pre at $49.95 (33.31 USD) for a tub of 30 servings.

The formula powering NZ Muscle’s Pre Ultra is somewhat fitting for that price tag, featuring a fairly light and straightforward combination of ingredients and dosages. The supplement describes itself as a “hard hitting pre-workout”, although on paper when put next to some of the top-rated entries in the space, the amounts filling out its rather light 5g serving size aren’t all that impressive.

Nz Muscle Pre Ultra Label

Each serving of NZ Muscle’s Pre Ultra has 1.6g of beta-alanine, half of that more common 3.2g, a specific 485mg of glycine, a gram of arginine AKG, and the classic stimulant caffeine at just 155mg. Creatine monohydrate is listed in the other ingredients section but not on the transparent part of the label, although since it’s in between the arginine and glycine, that should mean its dose is somewhere in the middle of their amounts of a gram to 485mg.

As mentioned earlier, NZ Muscle is now stocking Pre Ultra on its website at $49.95 (33.31 USD) for a tub of 30 servings, and it is available in several flavors. The retailer is also running a sitewide sale where the coupon code “WAITANGI” gets you a reasonable 15% discount, bringing Pre Ultra down to an even lower price of $42.46, which converts to under $30 in USD at around $28.34.
