ZOA Energy drops the 100-calorie version of its original energy drink

Zoa Drops Its 100 Calorie Energy Drink

When The Rock’s beverage brand ZOA Energy first hit the market, it launched two versions of its original energy drink, one with no sugar and the other with 23g of sugar per can and a total of 100 calories. Recently, ZOA rolled out its second product, ZOA Pre-Workout, although, unlike that first effort, this one only had one variant featuring no sugar and a lean 20 calories.

Something we noticed when ZOA Pre-Workout hit the brand’s official online store was there were fewer flavors of the 100-calorie energy drink. If you head to the website now, you’ll notice there are no flavors listed. We reached out to ZOA for more information, and it appears the brand has decided to keep the zero sugar version but drop the ZOA Energy drink with sugar.

In an effort to better suit the needs of our customers we are moving towards Zero Calorie as our main inventory. We will no longer have the 100 Cal available moving forward.” – ZOA Energy

ZOA Energy is essentially moving towards that cleaner macro approach for its family of beverages, where now its entire lineup of the original ZOA Energy drink and ZOA Pre-Workout, has absolutely no sugar. There may still be places out there stocking the ZOA Energy drink with 23g of sugar and 100 calories, although once stock levels deplete, it won’t be coming back.
