Bulk turns the UK’s popular tiffin slice into a protein packed treat

Bulk Protein Tiffin

European functional food companies make some of the most intriguing, unique, and, best of all, tasty protein snacks and treats, with Bulk out of the UK being one of those companies. It puts moderate amounts of protein into all different shapes and formats with Protein Biscuits, high-protein Rocky Road, Protein Porridge Squares, and now Protein Tiffin.

A tiffin is a type of no-bake treat slice popular in the UK, typically consisting of ingredients like raisins, biscuit pieces, and delicious milk and dark chocolate. Bulk has gone and put a protein-packed twist on the food in Protein Tiffin, providing 15g of protein per slice, 28g of carbohydrates with 8.9g of that sugar, 15g of fat, and a high calorie count of 304.

The nutrition profile of Bulk’s Protein Tiffin isn’t supremely lean, but it’s an improvement on a traditional tiffin, and it’s still made with food ingredients such as biscuit crumb, wheat flour, raisins, fat-reduced cocoa, and chocolate topping. The product currently comes in the one rich and tasty-sounding Triple Chocolate flavor costing £2.49 (3.13 USD) each, or get two free by purchasing a box of 12 at £24.99 (31.45 USD).
