Macro Mike drops a fruit-flavored protein with added EAAs, vitamins and probiotics

Macro Mike Protein Water

The clear and refreshing protein powder trend has made its way down under to Australia at the always busy functional food company Macro Mike. The brand has introduced Protein Water, a clean and lean protein supplement providing a relatively light 12g of protein per serving, with hydrolyzed pea protein peptides listed as the primary source of that.

Obviously, you can scale up your serving of Macro Mike Protein Water if you want more than 12g of protein, and with minimal other macros, you don’t need to worry about the nutrition getting too high. In a single serving, there is no fat and only 1.1g of carbohydrates, so if you take two scoops, you’ll get 24g of protein, 2.2g of carbs, and a calorie count of 105.

Interestingly, Macro Mike does add essential amino acids to its Protein Water, although it doesn’t say if they count towards the total amount of protein. Either way, the brand has added all nine EAAs to the product, as well as a variety of vitamins and minerals for general health and wellness, and the premium probiotic Lactospore to support gut health.

Macro Mike’s all-new Protein War is available directly through its online store, where it is very expensive at $59.95 (41.34 USD) for a single bag or $99.95 (68.93 USD) for two. The reason we’re saying it’s expensive is because that bag is not a traditional 1lb or 2lb; instead, it tips the scales at only 300g, which gets you 20 servings or ten if you double for more protein.

As mentioned Macro Mike’s Protein Water is also on that clear and refreshing trend, and is available in two fruity flavors as opposed to the typical milkshake-style options, like chocolate and vanilla. The tastes fans of the Australian brand have to choose from for the somewhat premium protein powder are a classic Pink Lemonade and Apple Blackcurrant.
