Popular Brazilian brand Atlhetica Nutrition has relaunched the bar format product from its Best Whey Series in the Best Whey Bar, with a few key differences compared to the original. The biggest change in the on-the-go snack is its size, as it is no longer 62g and packing a solid 15g of protein; the sports nutrition company has decided to downsize for a lighter protein solution when out and about.
Athletica Nutrition’s new Best Whey Bar tips the scales at 49g, so about 20% smaller, and the protein is a bit lower than that at 75% of 20g, so 12g, putting the product even further into the more protein treat or snack realm. While the refreshed protein bar is marginally smaller and slightly lower in protein, Athletica has ensured fans are not short on flavors releasing the bar with more tastes to choose from.
The 2022 edition of the Best Whey Bar has nine options on its menu, including the likes of Passionfruit Cheesecake, Peanut Butter, classic Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate Strawberry. Athletica Nutrition is saying its all-new Best Whey Bar is already out and available in stores in its home country of Brazil in all nine flavors, each packing that reasonable 12g of protein and absolutely no added sugar.
