Refreshed The Pump gets an even more robust formula to power pumps and performance

Myprotein The Pump 2023 Edition

International giant Myprotein has created a new version of its previously released, stimulant-free, pump-focused pre-workout, appropriately named The Pump. The original was certainly no slouch, bringing together a strong selection of ingredients to deliver that stimulant-free pre-workout experience, with a solid 6g of pure citrulline, 1.5g of betaine, 300mg of Vaso6, and 3.2g of beta-alanine for performance.

While the first iteration of The Pump was well put together, including some ingredients for more than its title benefit of better muscle pumps, Myprotein has stepped things up drastically for its 2023 edition. The all-new The Pump has turned itself into an even more complete and comprehensive stimulant-free pre-workout, with several ingredients for enhanced pumps and just as many for improved performance.

The key ingredients driving the pump side of Myprotein’s refreshed The Pump pre-workout are a huge 8g of pure citrulline, 100mg of the S7 blend, and another sizeable amount of betaine at 4g. Filling out the other side of the supplement are the performance components, beta-alanine at 25% more than its predecessor at 4g, Aquamin marined-sourced minerals, a gram of taurine, and 50mg of the premium and proven Senactiv.

As mentioned, Myprotein has ramped all of its areas up for the 2023 take on The Pump, and to really drive it home, the quality absorption enhancers BioPerine and AstraGin are in the mix at 5mg and 35mg, respectively. It is a solid supplement, offering support far beyond pumps, making it a well-rounded pre-workout whether you’re taking it by itself or in combination with some stimulants to enhance energy and focus.

Myprotein’s The Pump is part of its My Pro Series, and with that does come a premium price of £34.99 (42.10 USD) when shopping directly through myprotein.com. It is also worth noting those maximum dosages highlighted above are what you get in two servings of the product. That means you’ll only get 15 workouts a tub when pushed to the limit with three flavors available in Lemonade, Blueberries, and Bubblegum.
