Halo Top expands the menu of its oat milk dessert with pecans and swirls of caramel

Halo Top Plant Based Salted Caramel Pecan

A couple of years ago, the frozen functional specialist Halo Top introduced a completely new product in Australia with a plant-based, better-for-you ice cream, although it’s not the same as the vegan-friendly dessert you get here in the US. The functional food that debuted down under was an ice cream made from oat milk, and not too long after it made its way into stores in Australia, it hit the market in the UK.

Halo Top’s plant-based and vegan-friendly option is still going strong in the UK; in fact, it has just added another flavor to its lineup to go alongside the already available Triple Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Fudge Brownie, Peanut Butter Chocolate Overload, and Caramel Chocolate Pretzel. The new member of the family is Salted Caramel Pecan, rolling together caramel ice cream, pecans, and delicious swirls of caramel.

The nutrition profile of Halo Top’s Salted Caramel Pecan oat milk frozen dessert is on par with the other flavors in a low 4.8g of protein per tub, 36.5g of carbohydrates with 19.5g of that sugar, 16.5g of fat, and a calorie count of 355. One of the best places to go in the UK to get the plant-based ice cream from Halo Top is the major grocery chain Tesco, where the product is a bit cheaper than the regular version at £5 each.
