India’s Superlite puts a not-so-simple set of ingredients in its bottled energy drink

Introducing Superlite Energy Drink

The energy drink space has seen a massive surge in popularity, and if you’re a follower of Stack3d, that will be very obvious; although more interesting, it’s not limited to North America. Many brands around the world have got in on the trend, including those from the likes of Australia, another major market in the UK and Europe, and India, where the one-year-old Superlite has built a name for itself on a self-titled beverage.

Superlite Energy is the flagship energy drink from India’s Superlite, although while most energy drinks come in cans ranging from 12oz to 16oz sizes, this one comes packaged in a bottle. The formula squeezed into the beverage is quite intriguing as it’s a bit more complex than you’d expect. Superlite Energy has 90mg of caffeine with 100mg each of coQ10 and choline, a gram of taurine, absolutely no sugar, and zero calories.

It is exciting to see the trend of energy drinks move into India, even more so with a combination of ingredients that’s far from straightforward. Superlite’s India-made star beverage is currently available in one flavor with Tropical Karma and there are plans for more as everything grows. Superlite Energy isn’t the only product the brand has available; it also has two powder supplements for hydration and pre-workout.

You can read more about Superlite over on its website, where its Rush Sports Drink, Smash Pre-Workout, and Superlite Energy are all in stock and available for purchase. As with most of the products we’ve seen from India, the cost of everything the brand has on the market is low. The hydration supplement Rush is ₹699 (8.55 USD) a tub, the pre-workout Smash is slightly more at ₹999 (12.22 USD), and six bottles of Superlite Energy is ₹499 (6.11 USD), which works out to just $1 USD per bottle.
