GNC’s own Total Lean brand is rolling out a tasty new protein-packed snack, or technically snacks, and they’re not your traditional bars. The team has put together the Total Lean Protein Brownie and Total Lean Protein Blondie, which appear to be essentially the same style of functional food but in different flavors. The items are both made with soy, whey concentrate, and whey isolate, combining to provide a respectable 15g of protein in a moderate-sized 45g block.
The other macros in GNC’s Total Lean Protein Brownie and Total Lean Protein Blondie are identical, with the 15g of protein alongside 6g of fat, 15g of carbohydrates, only 2g of that sugar and 4g fiber, for a reasonable calorie count of 170. As mentioned, it is the taste that separates the Total Lean Brownie and Blondie, with the former coming in a Chocolate Confetti flavor, offering a chocolate-heavy taste, then the latter has a Confetti Cake flavor with a sweet and smooth caramel flavor.
GNC’s Total Lean Protein Brownie and Total Lean Protein Blondie are available for purchase directly through its online store in boxes of a dozen, and in stores, in bulk boxes as well as individually. Through gnc.com, the protein-packed snacks carry a regular price of $35.99, which is about $3 a piece, although currently, there is a limited-time buy-one-get-one half-price sale involving the Total Lean functional foods, allowing you to get a set of each at a combined $54 or $27 per box.
