The all-new David Bronze Protein Bar expands the functional food company’s family with a shift in approach from the original David Protein Bar in its signature gold wrapper. It keeps many of the defining benchmarks intact, including a lean 150 calories and a traditional bar format, while dialing in a more candy bar-style structure. The brand is promoting the two as “rigorously perfected protein” for the gold and “indulgence without compromise” for bronze.
With the Bronze Series, David pivots toward a more gourmet, dessert-like experience, similar to many other hugely successful protein snack makers in Barebells, Grenade, and ESN, with its Designer Protein Bar. Rather than a bare, plain, minimalist build, the David Bronze Protein Bar features a full coating of crunchy pieces and chocolate. The trade-off brings protein down to 20g, that same zero sugar, and as mentioned, the calories remain the same as the gold at 150.

The ingredient profile in the David Bronze Protein Bar blends whey and milk isolate, egg white, and calcium caseinate for its protein; innovative EPG for fats; maltitol, collagen, and glycerin labeled for structure; and sucralose, acesulfame potassium, cocoa, and chocolate for taste. The complete nutrition profile is led by 20g of protein with 3.5 to 4g of fat, 18g of total carbohydrates, 11g of that sugar alcohol, no added sugar, 5 to 6g of fiber, and 150 calories.
As previously reported, one of the flavors for the David Bronze Protein Bar is Double Chocolate Crunch, with three more filling out the menu for the alternative protein snack in S’mores Chocolate Crunch, Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch, and Cookie Dough Caramel Chocolate Crunch. David is pricing its all-new protein bar the same as its original offering at $39 for a box of 12 through davidprotein.com, and they’re all in stock and available to buy.
