Nutrein prepares to take on the energy drink category with added vitamins and nootropics

Nutrein Clean Energy Drink

We only recently featured the innovative, functional protein company Nutrein for the first time earlier in the week, going over all of its unique protein powder offerings. The UK-based brand makes a family of flavored protein supplements, but they’re far from traditional, combining reliable sources of protein with multi-benefit ingredients like Levagen, HydroCurc, and the multi-study-backed KSM-66 Ashwagandha. Nutrein has now taken the covers off something it has coming down the pipeline, and it does look promising.

Set to join Nutrein’s original selection of functional protein powders in the very near future is a completely new venture for the still rather young company in the Nutrein Clean Energy Drink. It is indeed a beverage, not a bulk powder supplement like those other items, although it maintains that same intriguing functional approach. Nutrein’s entry into the highly competitive energy drink space has a light dose of caffeine, more specifically natural caffeine, at 80mg a can, and that is just the start of what’s squeezed into the product.

The Nutrein Clean Energy Drink combines energizing caffeine with a variety of vitamins and five nootropic ingredients to enhance mental focus and cognition. Basically, the beverage is going to offer a lot more than the typical energy effect. We’re not sure about the macros, but seeing as Nutrein is a nutrition brand and knows how to keep things clean, as seen in its protein powders, we expect its energy drink to keep the sugar, carbohydrates, and calories to a minimum.

Again, we were only just introduced to Nutrein by way of its functional protein powder, and now it’s getting ready to make the leap into the fast-paced category of energy drinks, which is a whole other type of business. The Nutrein Clean Energy Drink is a completely different format for the brand as well, and we look forward to experiencing it firsthand with that heavily nootropic-backed formula and presumably great taste, with three flavors to be available at launch in Pink Lemonade, Peach Passion, and Mango Sunrise.
