Reputable Australian brand Day One tackles hydration with help from GlycerPump

From Stack3d
Day One Performance Athlyte

Day One Performance in Australia has been a high-quality premium brand since it debuted, proving that it’s not your typical sports nutrition brand right out of the gate by debuting with separate daily health and performance products for men and women. The still young and growing brand has put itself into a new category this week, one that many others around the world have thrown their hats into with the electrolyte-powered hydration supplement Athlyte.

Athyle from Day One Performance gets its name from two words: athlete and electrolyte, meaning it’s a hydration product built for athletes or hard-training individuals, and the formula behind it does reflect that. The price is relatively reasonable, with the brand itself selling its debut in the fast-growing hydration category at $59.95 (39.80 USD) for a box of 30 single-serving sachets in your choice of three flavors with Rocket Pop, Raspberry Burst, and Tropicola.

The ingredients and dosages in Day One Performance’s Athlyte include half a gram of taurine, a gram of GlycerPump glycerol, and a variety of electrolyte sources, Himalayan pink salt being one of them, to provide 327mg of sodium, 116mg of potassium, 92mg of magnesium, and 33mg of calcium. All of that combines for almost half a gram of electrolytes, which is reasonable, but do take note that there are other ingredients in there to support the core goal of better hydration.
