The team at the widely available Efectiv Nutrition from the United Kingdom has taken the covers off of its first functional food in quite some time, previously teased with silhouettes and absolutely no information to go off. Efectiv has taken part in the protein snack space in the past, but those competitors were eventually discontinued, with The Gooey Protein Bar being its latest and greatest gift to the world of protein bars, and by the sounds of things, it is going to be a rather tasty experience.
We have to imagine Efectiv Nutrition has included “Gooey” in the name of The Gooey Protein Bar due to the fact it has some sort of gooeyness to it, most likely in the center. That tends to be where brands tuck gooey fillings in bar-format protein snacks, and the flavors the product is coming in certainly have room for that to happen. There are two tastes confirmed so far for the upcoming Efectiv functional food in Milky Chocolate, probably with a chocolatey filling and Chocolate Caramel Biscuit with caramel.
More details will be shared shortly for Efectiv Nutrition’s The Gooey Protein Bar, and it will have the usual amount of high protein at 20.7g in the classic Milky Chocolate flavor and a slightly higher 22.5g in the Chocolate Caramel Biscuit. Either way you go, the sugar has been kept to under 2g a piece with the carbohydrates and fat, also remaining low alongside reasonable calories.
