Bucked Up takes its energy drink to Canada in a smaller can, fewer ingredients and less caffeine

Bucked Up Energy Drink In Canada

Bucked Up is one of the biggest players in the sports nutrition game in the US, and it even goes beyond that area of the industry and into energy drinks with Bucked Up Energy. That beverage has officially joined the list of products the brand has available in Canada, as the legacy retailer Popeye’s and its more than 100 stores have just added it to shelves. There do appear to have been stockists carrying Bucked Up Energy previously, although this is the official launch with dual language, English and French, on the can.

There are distinct differences with the Canadian version of Bucked Up’s energy drink, as the original here in the US has well above the maximum amount of caffeine allowed in a beverage in that country with a strong 300mg. The version of the product available at Popeye’s is close to half of that at 180mg in a 12oz can, not 16oz, alongside b vitamins, 1.2g of taurine, 300mg of arginine, and 23mg of theanine, no AlphaSize or premium Dynamine or TeaCrine like the US edition, nor tyrosine, ginseng, and huperzine a.

Bucked Up has obviously removed many components from Bucked Up Energy; however, to be fair, sometimes that is what you have to do to be allowed to sell your products in specific countries. Canada has some of the strictest rules and regulations in the world, yet it still manages to pump out some powerhouse supplements. Again, Bucked Up Energy has hit Popeye’s this month and with an impressive six zero calorie flavors in Mango Tanguo, Miami, Sour Bucks, Blue Raz, White Orchard, and White Gummy.
