Refresh is V Energy’s Monster Ultra-like beverage that universally has no sugar and low calories, with no sugary alternative whatsoever, and the flavors it comes in are all light, refreshing, fruity, and truly on-point. Since debuting with two tastes, the New Zealand-based company hasn’t grown the menu of Refresh that much, only adding Green Apple Lemonade around this time last year. Whether its goal is to add one a year or not, that is what’s happened, as another flavor of Refresh has slowly been showing up on shelves.
In New Zealand, alongside the original duo of Citrus Lemonade and Pineapple Watermelon, and somewhat more recent Green Apple Lemonade, is now a Blackcurrant Yuzu V Refresh Energy Drink. As per the name, like the other options for the beverage, the extension brings together sweet and smooth blackcurrant with a hit of citrusy yuzu. The experience is available in both the 250ml and 500ml sizes of V Energy’s Refresh, both with no sugar, low calories, and a moderate caffeine level of 78mg and 156mg, respectively.
