The premium pre-workout subcategory has exploded this past year, with brands from all around the world — mostly the US — getting in on the trend and crafting their own high-end pre-workout that gives consumers the chance to spend more and get more. The German giant ESN is currently gearing up to launch precisely that with Crank Ultimate, a more advanced version of its long-running Crank pre-workout that already has a few spin-offs like Crank Focus and Crank Energy Drink.
What we know so far about Crank Ultimate is that, as mentioned, it will be ESN’s premium pre-workout, offering a step up from the standard Crank in terms of variety of ingredients and dosages, and simply providing more in-depth support for things like energy, focus, and pumps. We have not seen the complete facts panel behind Crank Ultimate, but the brand has named some of its key ingredients in tyrosine, citicoline, green tea, rhodiola, and the premium performance-enhancer PeakATP.
Without dosages and the full facts panel, we can’t say too much as to whether ESN’s Crank Ultimate is going to be a powerhouse pre-workout, although the few ingredients it’s named are a great start. We can also confirm the upcoming supplement has a huge serving size of 30g a piece, another great sign that this is going to be packed.
