Genius Gourmet unveils a delicious Nut Roll-like protein snack at NACS in Las Vegas

Genius Gourmet Protein Nut Roll Bar

One of our favorite functional food companies from the sports nutrition industry was present at this year’s NACS Show here in Las Vegas, and we are talking about Genius Gourmet, maker of the decadent Keto Bar, Keto Shake, the light and crispy Protein Treat, and most recently, Protein Cookie Bites. At the 2024 edition of NACS, the brand has debuted a completely new product, and it’s another delicious high-protein food, similar to Protein Treat and Protein Cookie Bites, with the Protein Nut Roll Bar.

Genius Gourmet’s Protein Nut Roll Bar looks to mimic that familiar Nut Roll experience, where you get a soft, gooey, and sweet protein bar that’s covered in crunchy peanuts. The nuts add a lot to the consistency of the product and a bit of a peanutty taste, although the flavor is mostly made up of a smooth vanilla in the background and a strong caramel saltiness on the front. It’s a genuinely tasty experience, especially when you hit dense pockets of the on-point, peanut-complementing caramel.

The bar itself tips the scales at a moderate 51g, and has 10g of protein, 23g of carbohydrates with 2g of that sugar and 5g fiber, 13g of fat thanks primarily to the peanuts, and a reasonable 190 calories. While Genius Gourmet has brought its Protein Nut Roll Bar to The NACS Show, finished, and ready to eat, it will be a couple of months before it’s completely done and available for purchase direct and from stores.
